On December 1st, 2011, Bill Jaye and Starr Smith of Afferent Cue together
with multi-instrumentalist David Cohen will be among the honored musicians
performing for our nation as President Barack Obama and the First Family continue
a proud holiday tradition – The 89th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

"The Christmas Three" (Cohen, Jaye and Smith) will be in attendance performing
Christmas favorites along with host Carson Daly and fellow entertainers Marsha
Ambrosious, Rodney Atkins, One Republic, Kermit The Frog (and more TBA) at the
White House Ellipse in Washington DC. President Obama and his family will also be in
attendance, with the First Lady scheduled to read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas
to children in the audience.



17,000 tickets were made available to the public through an online lottery system and
the entire ceremony will be streamed live online and will be broadcast on PBS television
stations across the country.

Afferent Cue is happy to announce the Release of their CD, "Drinking With Hemingway". To celebrate they will be performing at the best listening room venue in Philly - The Tin Angel.

This performance will be a very special evening from start to finish. Joining Afferent Cue on the stage for this performance will be premiere musicians Chico Huff (bass) and Jon Anthony (guitar/mandolin) who were both featured on the album. Kicking off the events will be a performance by the very talented Multi-Instrumentalist, David Cohen. David will be performing his original pieces on classical and flamenco guitar, Chinese Pipa and Turkish Oud  - A musical experience you will not soon forget!

X-FEST is 2 days of awesome music and fun taking place on June 10th & 11th, 2011.
