The Carnival Is Coming...

Pre-Production - I Don't Think We're In Kansas Anymore

This is Starr with an update on all things "Cue".
We have been really busy the past month or so planning the new CD
(scheduled for production in early spring, 2012) Choosing what songs
go on the board for pre-production is a daunting task (see Louis B Mayer
reference above) but at the same time, it's an incredible amount of fun.

CD Release Party

A big THANKS to the Tin Angel , to the greatest fans a band could have and to David Cohen for making our CD Release Party not only a success, but the event to be at this past Saturday night. We have never felt so at home nor had so much fun performing. We love you ALL!

The Carnival Heads To NYC -OR- How To Get From Penn Station To The Lower East Side In 2 Minutes

ROAD TRIP! Last night was fast, furious and fun. Despite the NYC kamikaze cabbie's repeated attempts to land us all in Bellview, (starr is still recovering, and sends a BIG thank you Bill for telling this particular guy we had 15 minutes to the stage) - we ended up having a blast!

The actual TRIP to NYC was something out of a "Spinal Tap" sequel. I will spare you all the sordid details. Suffice it to say we made it to the venue without bailing anyone out of jail, which was a feat in itself.

Money For Nothing

I recently posted this to our Twitter..."whoever said "money for nothing", yeah THAT guy. i'm gonna punch him in the face."  Truer words were never spoken. I could have never imagined all the work, hours and insanity that goes into getting and keeping this carnival moving forward. Sleep? Hahaha...What's THAT? It's all good in the long run though because so many great things are happening. We are meeting interesting and wonderful people, making new friends and musicians along the way. The Tin Angel CD Release Party is shaping up to be a SPECTACULAR evening. Playing NYC on the Lower East Side in a couple weeks - that's gonna be great! XFest this Friday, and a private House Concert on the 25th. As always, very grateful for the support of the fans, they make this all possible. ::hugs:: ~Starr
